I have so many emotions right now! The Saints in the Superbowl, babies being born, Haitians needing help, and planting some good seeds! Thank you Lord and the nice young lady at Walmart who handled all my customer needs with ease and precision!
I enjoyed this weeks discussion board. I feel as if I am learning a lot more than what I did in the first Comp., but it is probably my own fault. The more you practice the more you learn the proper techniques. I am thinking of freelance writing to help me get better at it? What do you guys think? Maybe I can even get a little supplemental income flowing.
My mind is on Haiti! I don't understand how people can't get medical assistance. I know that Florida is not the only state that can administer care to victims in need. Some of the politics is just outrageous! Katrina was devastating, but not so much as this quake. They need our help and just not monetary donations! Families usually don't survive a devastating natural disaster, whether it be from loss of life or the stresses that develop throughout the aftermath and the recovery. I wish I could give my time on the grounds there now, but I send my prayers and hopefully I can join in soon to offer refuge.
On a lighter note, Gil Scott-Heron will be releasing a new album on February 9, 2010. I am very excited about it. Glad that he is not dead. R.I.P. Mr. Pendergrass. Miss you much.
